A pre-clinical lab is often faced with the need to constantly evaluate possible ways of increasing capacity and throughput. This study was done to show both proof of principle for an automation solution for a lab-scale protein purification set-up, and that it would significantly decrease hands-on time, while assuring that product quality was retained.
